Protein L chromatography column
HiTrap™ Protein L column is packed with Capto™ L resin. This resin combines a rigid, high-flow agarose matrix with the immunoglobulin-binding recombinant protein L ligand, which has a strong affinity to the variable region of antibody kappa light chains.
The high binding capacity and affinity to a broad range of antibody fragments makes this resin an excellent capture platform for antibody fragments containing kappa light chains. Common uses include domain antibody, scFv, and Fab purification.
