GN-6 Metricel™ MCE membrane disc filters, a Pall Life Sciences product, are mixed cellulose ester membranes, a well accepted filter media for microbiological analysis that provides maximum recovery of organisms. Typical Water Flow Rate > 65 mL/min/cm2at 0.7 bar (70 kPa, 10 psi) Maximum Operating Temperature – Water 74°C (165°F)Typical Moisture Pick-up Extractables - Boiling Water Minimum Bubble Point - Water 1.8 bar (180 kPa, 26 psi) Recovery (measured vs. control) > 90% E. coli Unique dot grid pattern gridline provides guidance for quantification of bacterial colonies without growth inhibition or enhancement.
