DESCRIPTION
Fluorodyne™ II DBL membrane filter cartridges, a Pall Life Sciences product, are 0.45 micron bioburden reduction filter cartridges that are used for prefiltration and bioburden removal.
These 0.45 micron-rated filters are predominantly used in pre-filtration applications or viscous fluid filtrations. Validated removal of Serratia marcescens (ATCC 14756) with a typical titer reduction (TR) of > 106 ensures that they are also suitable for bioburden control. A serial layer (0.65/0.45 micron) membrane construction allows for high throughputs and high flow rates compared with other 0.45 micron-rated filters.
Standard AB-style filters are replaceable cartridges used with stainless steel housing assemblies, suitable for medium-to-large-scale manufacturing operations (100 L to > 1000 L). With Code 7 fittings as standard, these cartridges are the most versatile filtration units. They are available with a broader range of filtration media than any other filter type. These cartridges are also available encapsulated in the Kleenpak™ Nova capsule format.
