Overview

INERTSIL HPLC Columns

GL Sciences in Japan is the manufacturer of well known Inertsil HPLC columns. GL Sciences' Inertsil columns offer everything you need for your critical separations in all phases of drug development, and something less. Inertsil's uniquely modified silicas and meticulously engineered column hardware allow our columns to operate at significantly lower back pressures than competitive columns, without sacrificing efficiency. Inertsil's wide pH compatibility and excellent stability at elevated temperatures make it the ideal choice for your chromatography needs, whether you are using a traditional HPLC system or the latest rapid gradient LC/MS system with precise temperature control.

InertSustain HPLC Columns

Generally, silica based columns are mechanically stable and provide high efficiencies, however, they cannot be used under alkaline conditions and their residual silanol groups tend to adsorb organic bases. InertSustain employs a radically new type of silica, in which the surface of the silica is uniquely modified, enabling precise control of the silica properties. InertSustain inherits the advantages of all the current Inertsil HPLC columns (e.g., extremely low operating back pressure, superior inertness to typically any analytes, high efficiency and compatibility with a wide range of solvents), but now can be used for wide pH analysis with consistent performance from column to column and lot to lot.

The InertSustain Serie has the following columns available; InertSustain C18, InertSustain AQ-C18, InertSustainSwift C18, InertSustainSwift C8, InertSustain Phenyl, InertSustain Phenylhexyl, InertSustain Cyano, InertSustain NH2, InertSustain Amide, InertSustainBio C18.

MonoCap High Resolution

MonoCap C18 HighResolution 2000 is a 2 meter length monolithic silica capillary column which is designed for identifying extremely high number of peptides/proteins for proteome research via LC-MS/MS.

MonoCap HILIC-UP is an important addition to the MonoCap C18 HighResolution 2000 column series. MonoCap HILIC-UP can retain highly hydrophilic peptides/proteins which may lead to discovering new peptides/proteins where a C18 phase couldn’t identify. In HILIC, the higher the organic concentration, the greater the retention of more polar analytes. One of the biggest benefit of HILIC mode is, a high organic solvent concentration of the mobile phase will lead to a high sensitivity LC-MS/MS analysis.
