DESCRIPTION
Designed to detect the end-of-service life for Vaplock exhaust filters by changing color when exposed to the breakthrough of solvent vapors when the filter is saturated. Color saturation varies by solvent. Replace the exhaust filter when a variation occurs. Can be used with typical HPLC solvents including: methanol, acetonitrile, THF, hexane, methylene chloride, chloroform, ethyl acetate. Not recommended for basic solvents like pyridine and aliphatic amines. Contact Shimadzu Technical Support for additional solvent compatibility.
