DESCRIPTION
Designed for modern, large-scale manufacturers, this resin is used for high-resolution polishing of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and other biomolecules. High yields achieved through the high-resolution beads and selectivity of the ligand. Efficient removal of aggregates, viruses, and main contaminants in mAb processes. Enables use of a platform approach to mAb process development. Displays a broad operational window for pH and salt. Suitable for polishing of antibody fragments. Resin fulfills industrial demands for security of supply, robust performance, and regulatory support. Solve challenging purification problems The weak cation exchange multimodal ligand enables high selectivity in a broad pH and salt window compared with traditional ion exchangers. This selectivity allows the use of Capto MMC ImpRes in a variety of process conditions to solve challenging purification problems. Wide operation window for simplified processing The multimodal cation exchanger ligand of Capto MMC ImpRes interacts with the target molecule through multiple types of interactions, including hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions. Capto MMC ImpRes can be used for initial or final polishing steps in mAb purification processes. It can also be used for polishing of antibody fragments such as domain antibodies (DAbs). The wide window of operation for conductivity and/or pH simplifies the downstream process, because conditioning after the protein A step can be omitted. When working with sensitive mAbs, the wide window of operation simplifies optimization of conditions. Prepacked columns and other formats Capto MMC ImpRes resin is available in the following formats:  Process Development scale: prepacked PreDictor Capto MMC ImpRes filter plates, 96-well plates for high-throughput screening or process development. PreDictor MMC ImpRes RoboColumn™ units, miniaturized columns for high-throughput process development. HiScreen Capto MMC ImpRes columns, optimized for method and process development. Lab scale: prepacked for manual purification HiTrap Capto MMC ImpRes columns, for easy use with a syringe, peristaltic pump, or chromatography system. Lab scale: prepacked for automated purification and analysis HiTrap Capto MMC ImpRes columns, for easy use with a syringe, peristaltic pump, or chromatography system. Process characterization: resin kits Process Characterization Kit Capto MMC ImpRes, designed for studying the potential impact that resin ligand density might have on the process outcome. Process scale purification: prepacked ReadyToProcess Capto MMC ImpRes columns, 1 L and larger columns for clinical manufacturing that minimize the need for cleaning and cleaning validation.
