DESCRIPTION
The phenyl-hexyl phase provides alternate selectivity compared to traditional C18 or C8 alkyl phases. The retention mechanism includes pi-pi interactions with the phenyl ring and hydrophobic interaction with the C6 linker, and is suitable for the analysis of isomers, structural analogs, and polar compounds that have limited retention on a C8 or C18 phase. USP L11, pore size: 100A, surface area: 350 m2/g, 9% carbon load, pH range: 1 to 10, fully endcapped. A guard column is recommended to prolong the lifetime of the analytical column. Similar to Premier Elite Phenyl Hexyl 220-97347-12.
