The Progard® S1 Pretreatment Pack optimizes system lifetime and performance by removing large particles, organic compounds, and free chlorine from tap water. This pack protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane against mineral scaling, organic fouling, and chlorine oxidation. The water pretreatment pack contains silver-impregnated natural activated carbon, a depth filter, and polyphosphates. For use with Direct-Q®, Elix®, and RiOs™ 5/8/16 systems. Suitable for tap water feed with silt density index (SDI) 2 < 1 ppm.
